Where Community Comes First

Overview

First Community Bank is a locally owned and operated bank with a big heart for its communities.

First Community Bank History

The bank opened for business on August 4, 1997, at 710 St. Louis Street in Batesville, Arkansas, with 14 employees and $3.5 million in capital. Through local decision-making and a genuine interest in the financial well-being of the communities served, it soon became a bank known for putting customers and community first.  The tremendous growth resulted in the need for additional locations, and so the expansion story began. Until December 2019, when the bank expanded to Northern Arkansas where a full-service banking center opened in Harrison, bringing the total number of branches to 27.

The bank grew by acquiring new banks, opening additional locations, or attracting new customers in existing markets, always with a focus on community banking.

First Community Bank Philosophy

First Community Bank strives to be the right community partner. The bank strongly supports education, economic development, and organizations that help its service areas grow and prosper. The community spirit and attention to customer service are the founding principles that have contributed to the bank’s success. And they have made it their promise to the communities they serve.

The Bank Today

The bank is committed to reaching out to customers and communities with excellent service, competitive rates, and convenience.  As a locally owned and operated bank, they offer personal and banking solutions such as checking and savings accounts, credit cards, and mortgage lending.
