Thank you for using Banks.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy and for that reason, we have adopted this Privacy Policy to explain our data collection, use, and disclosure practices for the Banks.com services, including any other tools, products, or services provided by Simply FinTech, Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”) that link to or reference this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Services”, “Website”).

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT WE ARE NOT A FINANCIAL INSTITUTION OR A PROVIDER OF FINANCIAL PRODUCTS OR SERVICES. We do not provide the financial products or services described on Banks.com. We host this Website for third-party providers to advertise their products and/or services. These advertisers may include financial institutions, credit card providers, mortgage brokers, insurance brokers, lenders, and other third parties who are customers of Banks.com (such as marketing partners working on behalf of third-party providers of financial products and services) (each, an “Advertiser”) to offer financial products and services to you and other potential consumers (each, a “Consumer”). As such, we do not collect any Consumer information directly from you. When you engage with Advertisers through our Services, they may ask for additional Personal Information.  We do not collect this information; this information is provided directly to the Advertiser you are engaging with.

This Privacy Policy applies to information Simply FinTech collects through the Services, as well as other information provided to us online or offline by third parties when we associate that information with customers or users of the Services; however, it does not apply to information collected from our employees, contractors, or vendors. It also does not apply to information that you share with third parties or is collected by third parties through the Services. You acknowledge and agree that Simply FinTech is not responsible for the data collection or use practices of any other Services user or Advertiser utilized in providing the Services.

This Privacy Policy describes, among other things:

  • How we use your information;
  • How we may share your information with third parties; and
  • Your choices regarding the personal information we collect about you.

1. Services

By accessing or using the Services, you consent to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the Services. By using the Services, you agree and acknowledge that you read, understand, and agree to be bound to all the terms and conditions of this policy in addition to our Terms of Service. We collect the above PII directly from you when you communicate with us online or offline, in connection with this Service, such as submitting a Contact Us form.  This information is never sold or shared.  We do not collect any PII that you may provide to an Advertiser through this Website or Service.

We may collect PII from third-party data sources such as Marketing & Data Analytic Partners, and Service Providers that interact with us in connection with the website functions or Services we perform.

Cookies and Automatic Information Gathering Technologies

Every time you use the Services (e.g., access a Service webpage, navigate to a specific tool within the Service), we collect Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity Information (discussed above) regarding that use. When you engage with Advertisers through our Services they may ask for additional PII.  We do not collect this information, this information is provided directly to the Advertiser you are engaging with.

Information collected by the Services may be collected by us or one of our service providers acting on our behalf, but in either case, this Privacy Policy will govern the collection, use, and sharing of the information.

3. Use of Your Information

We may use the information we collect to:

  • To provide and maintain Our Service, including monitoring the usage of our Service. This is required to offer Services and for our everyday business operations. You cannot limit sharing unless you refrain from engaging with this Website;
  • For the performance of a contract: To present Advertisers to you who will provide you with information about products or services in which you’ve expressed an interest using the Services. You cannot limit sharing unless you refrain from engaging with this Website;

Advertisers: We may share the PII mentioned above and Non-Personal Information when you click on an Advertiser’s ad or link (for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising purposes These companies may ask for additional PII to deliver products or services they offer. Any information they collect will be govern under their respective Privacy Policies. You may limit this sharing by not engaging with this Website or clicking on links contained within this Website.

Other Third Parties: We may also disclose your Personal Information to third parties when we believe, in good faith and in our sole discretion, that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to (a) enforce or apply the terms and conditions of the Services, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (b) comply with legal or regulatory requirements or an enforceable governmental request, (c) protect the rights, property or safety of us, our users or other third parties, (d) prevent a crime or protect national security, or (e) detect, prevent or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues.

The Services are not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from users under 18 years of age. We do not authorize users under 18 years of age to use the Services.
