Monday February 12, 2007 8:32 AM ET
San Francisco, CA — InterSearch Group, Inc. (OTCBB:IGO - News), a leading provider of Internet search services and operator of industry specific destination portals, announced today that it will attend the American Camp Association 2007 Widening the Circle National Conference. The conference will be held on February 13-16, 2007 in Austin, TX.
"The ACA conference marks the launch of a nationwide marketing campaign for our new web properties Camps.com and SummerCamp.com," said InterSearch Chairman and CEO Dan O’Donnell. "These are the premier domains and the ultimate online advertising vehicles for camp operators and camp-related vendors. We believe that once these businesses become educated on just how effective our sites are in bringing campers to their doors, they will realize that they cannot afford to not be advertising on Camps.com and SummerCamp.com. We certainly expect to generate a buzz with the conference attendees."
Camps.com and SummerCamp.com offer a wealth of information on camps nationwide - helping parents make informed decisions about where to send their children. InterSearch is planning an aggressive outreach to camp operators offering them an opportunity to advertise on the company’s proprietary websites.
Our domains generate high quality traffic by ranking close to the top of search engine queries, as well as through people typing Camps.com directly into their browsers. We have also integrated camps.com into our search engine marketing platform which will drive even more traffic to the site. This translates into attractive conversion rates for our advertisers," O’Donnell continued.
InterSearch’s Camps-related domains generate revenues - primarily using a directory structure with a pay-per-listing model backed by direct advertising relationships with camp operators and service providers. This model creates a recurring revenue stream which helps mitigate the seasonality inherent in online traffic.
