I am a big enough man to admit when I am wrong. The last time I reported on car deals, I thought we weren’t going to have many more opportunities to get in on some of these great deals. I thought the U.S auto makers were going to have to resort to increased prices to compensate for their lack in sales.
Well, that was close to two months ago and I am happy to report that the good deals are still around and quite frankly don’t appear to be going anywhere fast. Once again we see a little bit of everybody getting in the act except for Hyundai, who is still quite a bit ahead of the pack, as far as sales go.
BMW
BMW is back on our list this month with some respectable deals. They are offering no payments for two months on many 2009 models. That way you can enjoy the rest of your Spring before realizing, Holly Toledo, I can’t afford this! With APR financing as low 0.09% (for up to 60 months), joining the Beemer crowd just got a little bit easier. (Offer lasts through May 31, 2009)
Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, HUMMER, Pontiac, Saturn, and Saab
GM is trying to save itself using 0% APR financing for up to 60 months on most of their models. They also have a few cash back incentives available. The GM Total Confidence Plan has also been put into effect to hopefully steal some of Hyundai’s thunder. (Offer lasts through April 30, 2009)
Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep
If you thought a regular Employee Pricing Sale was good, wait until you get a load of the Employee Pricing Plus Plus Sale, or at least that is what they’d like you to think. What exactly is the “Plus Plus”? Well you get the standard 0% APR financing for 36 months, plus employee pricing, plus cash back. (no known expiration)
Ford
In their own effort to boost sales, Ford is offering their recession friendly Ford Advantage Plan. In addition, many of their 2009 models are offering rebates on up to $5,000. Just like most everybody else, they have 0 % APR financing, although theirs is extended to 60 months. With these offers lasting through June 30, 2009, Ford has obviously committed itself to riding the recession through the long haul.
Toyota
Many popular models of Toyota are currently available with 0% APR financing. In addition they also have cash-back rebates on up to $4,000. Yes folks, Toyota is hurting too. (Offer lasts through April 30, 2009)
Mazda
Mazda has some moderate deals this month, such as cash back and zero to 0.9% APR financing for 36 months. Not bad deals, but not the best of the list. (Offer lasts through April 30, 2009)
Volkswagen
Volkswagen must be having a few decent sales, as they are only offering 3.9% APR financing for their general line of popular vehicles. The real deals to be had this month are on their 2009 Passat Wagon, Routan, and Touareg, all featuring 0% APR financing. (Offer through April 30, 2009)
What are you waiting for! Get out there⦠while the gettin’s still good!
