You CAN Have Your Carpet and Eat On It Too!

In recent research, the NPD Group found that approximately 92% of all consumers in America are guilty of dining on “ready-to-eat” forms of nourishment throughout their day. One of the favorite places to eat some of this food is currently the automobile for at least 60% of all car owners.
Eating in our cars is fast becoming an American past-time, with an average of no less than 32 meals consumed inside their vehicles each year. In 1985, the average was 19 meals, so we are talking about adding over one extra meal inside our vehicle every two years.
At this rate, in another 500 years people will be eating at least one “on-the-go†meal everyday, and in fact some people already do. With all this food going in and out of our cars, not only does some of it end up all over our pant leg, dress, or shirt, it also finds its way on our seat and carpet upholstery.
Back in the day, 3M Scotchguard was about as good as you could do to protect yourself from these spills. Today however we have yet another choice of protection… YES Essentials.
YES Essentials is currently one of the only lines of automotive interior fabric that has the ability to resist stain, odor, static charge, bacteria, mold, and mildew. This opens up a whole new option for the pet owner or outdoor enthusiast who doesn’t like the feel of the rubber mats and “water resistant†interiors currently being offered by vehicles such as the Toyota FJ Cruiser.
The Yes Essentials line of fabric has the ability to soak up a fair amount of liquid without the worry of your floorboard becoming a mold and bacteria factory afterwards. This can be especially useful in convertibles, family hauling SUV’s, and light and heavy duty work trucks.
Which manufacturers and vehicles feature this line of YES Essentials fabric?
Chrysler
Aspen, Pacifica, PT Cruiser, PT Convertible, Town & Country, Grand Caravan… and Sebring (convertible)
Dodge
Avenger, Caliber, Dakota, Durango, Nitro… and Ram
Jeep
Compass, Wrangler… and Patriot
Your prayers for a comfortable, soft, clean, sanitary, easy to maintain, heavy-duty functioning automotive interior have now been answered…
Okay, that may sound a little dramatic, so let’s just say they’ve been thoroughly addressed!
