The “Which Car is the Fastest†Blog Post: From A to Z (Part 3)
Ford

Ford has a nice array of quick vehicles this year, but the absolute most brutish beast is without a doubt the 2007 Mustang Shelby GT500 (SS) Super Snake. Considering the combined Supercharged V-8 and 0-60 time in just 3.8 seconds, the $66,000 price tag is a steal in comparison to a lot of other high performance cars out there.

For the price however, it is hard to beat the standard 2007 Mustang Shelby GT for only $36,000 and feature a normally aspirated 4.6 liter V-8 that can do 0-60 in a respectable 5 seconds.
GMC

When you are talking about a GMC, your choices are already somewhat limited for performance, but the 2007 GMC Sierra Denali is not all bad. 403 horsepower, a 6.2 liter V-8, and a 0-60 time in 6.2 seconds which isn’t bad for an SUV tipping the scale at over 5,500 lbs of consumer convenience. At $42,000 the Denali is not cheap, but nor is it expensive.
Honda

There are not any super scorching beasts to speak of really for the Honda, but the 2008 S2000 CR has a decent 0-60 time of under 6 seconds. Using its technology advanced 2.2 liter I-4 pumping out approximately 240 horsepower, the S2000 is a fun everyday consumer car. Keeping with its promise to provide quality affordable consumer cars, the S 2000 has a price tag of just $38,000 for this complete performance and reliability package all in one.
Infiniti

The Infiniti is a beautiful car, but is probably not going to win you many races at a stoplight. If you were hard pressed to choose one of these fine automobiles for its performance, you should go with the 2008 G37 Coupe. The G37 features a 330 horsepower V-6 that can pull 0-60 times of just under 5 seconds. Considering the price of $35,000 for most of their G series vehicles, it is a definite good value.
Jeep

Jeep has come along way from the old CJ’s; especially in their 0-60 potential. The 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8 is capable of 0-60 in just under 5 seconds. The 420 horsepower probably has a lot to do with its newly refined potential. At $40,000, the Jeep Cherokee is a strong contender these days.
